Open the app to the home screen. Tap the + (plus) button in the top-right corner or at the bottom of the portfolios list. Enter a name for your portfolio and tap Save.
You can create as many portfolios as you need. You can also reorder portfolios by pressing and holding a portfolio card to drag it to a new position.
Open the portfolio you want to add coins to by tapping on it from the home screen. Tap the + button to open the coin picker.
You can browse the top 20 coins by market cap, or type in the search field to find any of the 10,000+ supported coins. Once you select a coin, enter the quantity you hold and tap Save.
To edit a holding or delete it, tap on the holding in the portfolio detail view.
No, you don’t need one to use the app. The app works well with CoinGecko’s free, unauthenticated API out of the box.
If you sign up for a CoinGecko account at coingecko.com, you can get a free Demo API key that provides higher rate limits. Enter it in Settings → CoinGecko API Key.
Your API key is stored securely on your device and is only ever sent directly to CoinGecko, never to us.
Go to Settings → Backup & Restore → Create Backup. The app will generate a backup file containing all your portfolios, holdings, and settings.
To restore, go to Settings → Backup & Restore → Restore from Backup, select your backup file, and choose what to restore. If your current data conflicts with the backup, the app will show you options to merge or overwrite.
Tip: Keep your backup file safe. It contains your full portfolio data.
Absolutely not. Your portfolio data lives exclusively on your device. We have no servers that store your data, no accounts, and no cloud sync.
The only external service the app communicates with is CoinGecko to fetch market prices. Those requests include coin IDs but not your quantities, portfolio structure, or personal information.
We also don’t collect analytics or usage data. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Yes. When you open the app without an internet connection, it automatically serves the last fetched prices from its local cache.
The app shows a stale data indicator so you always know if you’re looking at live or cached prices.
Once your connection is restored, the app will automatically refresh prices on the next scheduled interval or immediately if you pull to refresh.
Go to Settings → Refresh Interval. You can set the auto-refresh interval anywhere from 1 minute to 60 minutes. The default is 5 minutes.
Shorter intervals give you fresher data but use more battery and may hit CoinGecko rate limits faster.
Go to Settings → Theme. You can choose between Light, Dark, or System. The change applies immediately.
Yes. Go to Settings → Currency and select your preferred fiat currency. The app will display all portfolio values, coin prices, and 24h changes in that currency.
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data, including your portfolios, settings, and cached prices. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Before uninstalling, create a backup. Go to Settings → Backup & Restore → Create Backup and save the file somewhere safe.
